About us...
- We are an independent outpatient physiotherapy clinic serving Lambton County since 2004.
- We treat all orthopaedic conditions, such as strains and sprains, pre & post-surgery, work related injuries, sport and active injuries and motor vehicle injuries.
- Our clinic focus is on providing high quality physiotherapy care to all of our patients.
- Our treatment consists of proactive, hands on approach to resolving all impairments.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness
- Answer and direct phone calls using proper phone systems etiquette
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services
- Utilize Quick Books for administrative billing tasks
- Familiarity with medical terminology for effective communication within a healthcare setting
- Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records.
- Coordinate with medical professionals and staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Direct billing to insurance companies is necessary and knowledge/experience in this area is an asset.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, honesty, and skills necessary to handle all financial transactions, balancing daily sales at the end of each business day and being responsible for nightly bank deposits
- Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence
- Greet patients and visitors at the front desk in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Assist the physio and physio assistant in the gym area with patient care
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
**Skills**:
- Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Quick Books accounting systems preferred
- Post-secondary education and previous work experience in the medical office / business administration considered an asset
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for interacting with patients and staff
