**Mission**

Their range of duties encompasses project management, architectural and solution design, business process and data analysis, specification creation, building, testing, deployment, and post-deployment support, adhering to IT procedures and standards set by the IT group and IT Americas governance.

**Day-to-day responsibilities**

They will work closely with the entire project team, including Project Management, Data Solution Architect, Business Analysts, Functional teams, and Downstream Applications, to implement the project plan effectively.

The Senior Business Analyst may engage in any or all of the following core activities:

- Coordinate initial studies with the Business/sponsor.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and processes.
- Ensure thorough definition and validation of requirements.
- Conduct data assessment, gap analysis, and remediation.
- Define functional, technical, and organizational solutions to fulfill requirements.
- Draft technical/functional specifications aligned with requirements and consistent with the chosen solution.
- Conduct System Testing (SIT) to verify development compliance with specifications.
- Plan and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), obtaining User Sign Off (USO).
- Collaborate with the IT development team to plan and execute Migration Testing (Dry Run) up to successful delivery in production.

Support the Project Manager in:

- Executing the project plan, communicating with the Business, and coordinating with project stakeholders.
- Managing issues and risks.
- Participating in project planning, cost estimation, and reporting.
- Reporting on status, budget consumption, and capacity planning.

**Competencies**
- Demonstrated professional background in Business Analysis and/or Application Testing, particularly within Accounting or Financial systems implementation within the Banking sector.
- Proficiency in ETL/Data Warehouse solutions, and/or experience with Ledger systems, Financial Regulatory Reporting, Liquidity Monitoring, or Financial Risk Monitoring solutions.

Expertise in at least one of the following areas:

- Complex financial products and their associated risks and liquidity impacts.
- Technical accounting and financial processes such as month-end closing, entity consolidations, or liquidation/reevaluation.
- Reporting processes including Financial, Management, Risk, Liquidity, and Regulatory reporting.
- Familiarity with US and Canadian regulations is advantageous.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to effectively summarize findings.
- Skill in organizing activities, setting priorities, and delving into details as necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Driven by results and dedicated to client satisfaction.

Pay: $75,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
