**THE ROLE** Retail Coordinator**:
The Retail Coordinator oversees the distribution of merchandise to outlets and ensures adequate stock levels are maintained. They will coordinate and plan the shipping and receiving of merchandise and be responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of loss prevention controls. They will also assist with managing employees and provide training and development as required.

In addition, the Retail Coordinator plays an important role in enhancing the morale of CAF members by planning recreational activities, outings and events. Keeping CAF members energized ensures they are mentally and physically ready to sustain the rigours of operations, and live healthy balanced lives. They will be able to use their creativity in finding innovating ways to help pass leisurely time and will occasionally be able to accompany CAF members for the activity.

**Retail Supervisor**:
The Deployment Support Retail Supervisor plans, organizes, monitors and coordinates the retail operations and mess activities. They enforces the health, hygiene, safety, and security standards and programs. They prepare work schedules and supervises employees. They coordinate the set-up and the take down of functions. The Deployment Support Retail Supervisor prepares regular cash audits and periodic reconciliation of deposits. They authorize refunds, voids and returns and holds keys, safe combination and/or access codes.

In addition, you play an important role in enhancing the morale of CAF members by planning recreational activities, outings and events. Keeping CAF members energized ensures they are mentally and physically ready to sustain the rigours of operations, and live healthy balanced lives. You will be able to use your creativity in finding innovating ways to help pass leisurely time and will occasionally be able to accompany CAF members for the activity.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

Must have a high school diploma with several years of experience in a related field, or an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience

**Experience**
- Experience in personnel administration
- Experience in cash handling
- Experience in administrative procedures
- Experience in inventory control and financial administration
- Experience in maintaining specified inventory and order merchandise
- Experience in preparing sales/merchandising reports
- Knowledge of deployment support policies and directives;
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Excellent organizational skills; and

**Competencies, Skills and Abilities**

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS**
English Essential / French Essential / Bilingual an asset

- Willingness to work a non-conventional workweek (e.g. 56hrs per week/weekends);
- Position requires walking, heavy lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing (i.e. 50 lbs/ 23 kg or more);

**DEPLOYMENT SUPPORT**:
CFMWS has been delivering morale and welfare programs to deployed CAF members since 2000 in the area of fitness, sports and recreation. We also assist with other amenities and support including travel assistance, messes, retail and barber services to make time away on deployment easier for CAF members.
