Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Introduction: Prime Hires is seeking a skilled Operations Officer to join our client.

Contract Dates: 12 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: $24.74 per hour
Business Hours: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Job Responsibilities:

- Daily reconciliation of the Firms previous day’s trading, accurately identifying and reporting trade breaks to the appropriate parties on or before Service Agreement
- Ensure that all errors are investigated promptly, and corrections are processed accurately with proper authorization being obtained
- Correspond with Traders and Correspondent Clients on a daily basis acting on their instructions to add, cancel or amend trades
- Identify, take action and escalate immediate concerns and or problems that are encountered with the daily reconciliation
- Ensure your daily work kept for audit purposes is accessible, organized and filed according to TD Wealth record retention policy
- Ensure necessary procedures, due diligence, quality controls and quality verifications are followed to support the accuracy of all transactions at all times
- Ensure issues are handled appropriately by performing quality investigations, escalating issues timely when necessary
- Share in the responsibility for delivering a consistent Operational Excellence by following TD Framework and through your own accountabilities & objectives
- Demonstrate flexibility with working environment changes and requirements. Availability to work shifting schedule to ensure coverage is fundamental to your position

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

- Strong Excel skills
- Reporting skills /analytical
- Knowledge of financial products (equity / bonds)
- Trade reconciliation

- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
