**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- **Order Processing**:Coordinate and process orders to ensure timely and accurate shipments. Work closely with the production team to align shipping schedules with manufacturing needs.
- **Shipping Documentation**:Prepare and verify shipping documents such as invoices, packing slips, shipping labels, and customs paperwork (for international shipments).
- **Carrier Management**: Work with carriers to schedule shipments, track orders, and resolve any issues related to deliveries.
- **Inventory Control**: Monitor and maintain inventory of shipping materials (boxes, tape, labels, etc.). Ensure materials are stocked to meet daily shipping needs.
- **Purchasing Shipping Supplies**: Order and manage the purchase of shipping supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely availability.
- **Ordering Raw Materials**:Source and order raw materials (metals, plastics, etc.) for production based on inventory levels and production schedules.
- **Cost Management**:Track and control shipping and material procurement costs, negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers to ensure optimal pricing.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure products are packed securely for shipping and check the quality of raw materials upon arrival.
- **Customer Service**:Provide excellent service to internal teams and external customers by resolving shipping issues and addressing any concerns related to deliveries.
- **Compliance**:Stay up-to-date on shipping regulations, including international standards and material handling guidelines.
- **Reporting**:Generate reports on shipping activities, raw material inventory levels, and procurement performance for management review.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in shipping coordination, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Experience in sourcing and purchasing raw materials, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of shipping carriers, logistics software, and basic shipping documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving attitude.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
