In your role as the Special Ship Coordinator at The North West Company (NWC) you will coordinate the process for Special Ship store orders for Food and General Merchandise.

**Your Role**:

- Action Pre-Defined Steps of the Special Ship Project Plan;
- Assist with creation of Special Ship Ordering Database;
- Maintain and update Special Ship Database to facilitate creation of Special Ship Order Forms;
- Assist with the consolidation/loading of the store order forms into the Special Ship Ordering database once received and signed off by appropriate parties.
- Create templates for Purchase Order and Requisition submission;
- Action tasks/direction received regarding any receiving issues noted from the daily review of Retek receiving status;
- Provide training to co-workers, Replenishment Analysts and Category Teams on proper process to fill out Special Ship Work Request Templates;
- Coordinate the timely creation of store receiving books.
- Create and maintain SOP for all tasks within your area of accountabilities; and
- Follow all Service Level Agreements assisting with the Receiving Issue Report(s) and Store Connect Tickets as requested.

**Desired Skills & Experience**:

- Post-secondary education or a combination of education and experience in the supply chain/logistics field;
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and Access skills is required;
- Working knowledge of how marketing, supply and logistics optimally work together to form a value chain in a retail environment would be considered an asset;
- Strong analytical abilities and problem solving skills;
- Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and assignments under strict timelines and within a fast paced environment
- Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service.
- Must be detail conscious while demonstrating a high level of accuracy; and
- Proven organizational, planning and prioritizing skills.
