**JOB SUMMARY**

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in receiving, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping and maintaining stock records in warehouse.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Duties**
- Supervise warehousing and storage of parts, material and product
- Plan, organize and coordinate the flow and storage of material throughout warehouse, and coordinate replacement/ ordering of such
- Stage and prepare goods to be shipped; supervise retrieval, packaging, identification, handling and staging of all products to be shipped
- Become proficient in all pertinent areas of the Comsense order entry system
- Supervise the delivery of material to customers, facilities, and sites
- Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
- Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports to branch manager
- Provides coaching and performance reviews in a timely manner in consult with the branch manager
- Give direction & instruction to staff in a professional and respectful manner
- Evaluate complaints received on equipment and supplies and take appropriate action
- Control and dispatch pickup and delivery of goods
- Ensure all customers (internal, external, on-site and off-site) are promptly, professionally and courteously attended to
- Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies or send to applicable person for training
- Ensure smooth operation of computer systems and equipment
- Follows all safety policies including wearing appropriate safety attire at all times
- May perform the same duties as workers supervised

- Product knowledge and experience required

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Forklift certificate is required
- Valid driver’s license (a current driver’s abstract may be required)
- Minimum 3 years shipping supervisory experience
