We are currently looking for a detail-oriented **Shipping Clerk** to join our team and help ensure the timely and accurate shipment of goods for our clients.

**Position Overview**
As a **Shipping Clerk**, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipping process, ensuring that all shipments are prepared, packaged, and delivered according to the company's standards. You will work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries. This role is crucial to maintaining the high level of customer service and operational efficiency that Buff Moving is known for.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Process and prepare outgoing shipments for delivery, ensuring all items are properly packed and labeled.
- Verify shipping orders, ensuring accuracy in the number of items and their correct packaging.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to arrange the appropriate transportation for shipments.
- Maintain and update shipment tracking information in the company system.
- Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies and ensure the warehouse is stocked with necessary materials.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damages and discrepancies and report them accordingly.
- Assist with coordinating the delivery schedules for residential and commercial moves.
- Communicate with customers to confirm shipping details and ensure smooth delivery.
- Ensure all shipments comply with safety standards and company policies.
- Maintain organized shipping logs and records for future reference.
- Collaborate with customer service and warehouse teams to resolve any shipping issues.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse management is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments at once.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to [weight limit] lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $22.88-$24.88 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
