Key responsibilities involve confirming that work meets design specifications, collecting field quantities for monthly progress reports, and being the face of our company at site meetings. **Key Responsibilities**:
- Tracking the progress and completeness of permanent construction areas.
- Monitoring internal crews and sub-contractors for compliance, including review and enforcement of the Sub-Contract and reporting of any violations to management.
- Supporting and leading all aspects of the company safety program and regulations, including completion of formal safety inspections and reports as required.
- Ensuring internal crews and sub-contractors are performing their scope of work to design standards and specifications.
- Acts as a company representative at all site meetings and as a point of contact for field level questions regarding a project.
- Leading and advocating for compliance with company policies, procedures and guidelines, including ethics and safety.
**Work Environment**:
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, overtime as required.
- Working outdoors during inclement weather during site visits and working in & around live traffic.
- Exposures: noise, dust, fumes, and other Workplace Hazardous Materials
- Comply with Company drug and alcohol policy.
- Working in remote office spaces.
**Qualifications**:
- High School Diploma plus Civil/Construction Engineering Technologist C.E.T. or relevant post-secondary education is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry. Strong preference is given to those with a road construction background.
- Class 5 driver’s license required.
