Translation Administrator
LOCATION
CAN OTTAWA
As part of the Ontario Business Support Centre you will provide translation and administrative support to the business.
The responsibilities of the Support Specialist are, but not limited to:
- Preparing resumes, formal references and other documents in both English and French as requested working with the Global Translation team
- Proofreading/validating French translations as requested working with the Global Translation team
- Occasionally creating and managing French Canadian translation projects within Trados Live to support the Global Translations team
- Keeping a clean and updated database (Salesforce)
- Preparing communications as follow up to interview meetings and sending registration documents via eDocs
- Set up contractors for evaluations and manage the results
- Back up coverage to the Customer Support Specialist, which includes incoming call handling in both English and French
EXPERIENCE & PROFILE REQUIRED
- 1+ years working in a customer service role
- Proven experience in Québec French translation
- Experience using SDL Trados is an asset
- Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating that the customer is always at the centre of what you do
- Proven ability act with a sense of urgency and solve problems.
- Proficient in MS Office suite and Sharepoint
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with team members customers, and key stakeholders in a virtual/remote environment
- Strong personal brand
- Ability to work effectively in a continually changing environment and under high pressure
- Ability to deliver high-quality work under minimum supervision
