What will your workweek consist of?
- Coordinate and moderate virtual corporate presentations in a high-tech studio. Management of
the public company will be presenting their story, and you will be moderating the event live
(Introducing the presenter, moderating during the event and Q&A session).
- Dissemination of our client's news releases and invitations to corporate presentations
- Manage, edit, and upload website content.
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy after conducting competitive
research, platform determination, messaging, and audience identification.
- Plan, create, publish, and share new content daily (including original text, images, and video) that
builds meaningful customer connections, increases brand awareness, and encourages community
members to engage with the brand.
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the
company's social content.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
- Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas
(content development and optimization, advertising, etc.)
- Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social
- Database management; searching and entering data.
- Media monitoring (Newspapers, magazines, business publications, various search engines such as
Meltwater).
- Create and update various reports, lists, and documents.
Once you have gained experience and we mutually feel you are ready, you will be able to take on the
**following responsibilities in your role**:
- Call and develop new media contacts, such as journalists and financial reporters.
- Coordinate interviews, conference calls and webcasts for our clients.
- Advising a portfolio of media clients.

methods that will enhance job performance.
- You have a sharp eye for detail and know-how to quality-check content for tone, call to action,
grammar, and typos.
- Interest in the financial sector and thirst for knowledge; finding ways & angles to fit our clients
into ongoing news narratives.
- Proven experience as a social media specialist or similar role (marketing specialist)
- Knowledge and prior experience with Hootsuite and Canva
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and
- Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such
as SEO/social media etc.) and market research methods
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
- Fluency in English

This posting is a 6-month contract; however, we are looking to offer you a permanent position if this is
the right fit for both parties.
Once you become permanent, you are eligible for all benefits, including remunerated time off, vacation
days and group insurance.
