**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Pastry & Dessert Creation** - Develop, prepare, and present high-quality French pastries, desserts, and baked goods, including croissants, éclairs, tarts, macarons, and other signature items.
- **Recipe Development** - Innovate and refine recipes while maintaining the authenticity of classic French pastries.
- **Quality Control** - Ensure consistency in texture, taste, and presentation of all baked goods.
- **Kitchen Operations** - Manage baking schedules, monitor inventory, and oversee ingredient procurement to maintain freshness and efficiency.
- **Health & Safety Compliance** - Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- **Team Collaboration** - Work closely with the Head Chef and café team to develop seasonal pastry offerings and ensure smooth service.
- **Customer Experience** - Engage with café management to understand customer preferences and introduce new pastry selections accordingly.
**Requirements**:
- **Proven Experience** - Minimum of **3+ years** as a pastry chef, specializing in French patisserie.
- **French Pastry Expertise** - Strong skills in traditional and modern French baking techniques, including laminated doughs, choux pastry, and delicate dessert plating.
- **Creativity & Passion** - A deep love for pastry arts and a desire to create visually stunning and delicious baked goods.
- **Attention to Detail** - Precision in measurements, techniques, and presentation.
- **Organizational Skills** - Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple orders in a fast-paced environment.
- **Language Skills** - Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is **preferred**.
