As a Project Coordinator in the Mechanical Process Pipe Fabrication department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects related to the fabrication of mechanical process piping systems. You will be responsible for coordinating various aspects and supporting the project management, including scheduling, resource allocation, communication, and documentation, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.

This position will be based in Nisku, AB.

What You Will Be Working On- Work closely with project managers to allocate resources effectively, including labor, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements.- Assist in the procurement process by obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries to ensure timely availability of materials and supplier- Assist with fabrication projects, including liaison with PM, Consulting Engineers, and Subcontractors- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and meeting minutes, in compliance with company policies and industry regulation.- Assist in the preparation of project closeout documents, including as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and final invoices, to ensure a smooth transition to the client- Assist with preparation and execution of overall work plan and schedule- Participate in shop safety meetings and be a leader of initiatives

What We Are Looking For- Proven experience in project coordination within a Fabrication shop- CET diploma, Trade certification as fitter, Welder or mechanical engineering, Welding Engineering Technology considered an asset- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders and build positive working relationships.-
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
