Jack Nathan Functional Health, the medical operations division of Jack Nathan Health® is a growing health care organization with locations across Canada.. As our company moves into the Quebec market, we are actively looking to add an Operations Consultant to our thriving team. Reporting directly to the National Director of Operations and working closely with Human Resources and Physician Recruitment, the Operations Consultant will be instrumental in the physician and clinic management of Jack Nathan Health’s® various medical clinics in the Montreal-region. This is an incredible opportunity for an ambitious individual who has a proven track record of being hands-on in the launching of clinics. **FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Proficient in the day-to-day operations of the medical clinics including, but not limited to; client services, billing, scheduling, end of day reconciliation and reporting, accounts payable, etc.

2. Experienced in the start-up phase and launching of new clinics; implementing policies and establishing workflow practices to set the clinics up for success.

3. Continuously work “hands-on” in clinics to train, coach, and maintain the engagement of the medical administrative team, identify business needs, and aid in the execution of business development plans; able to carry out the daily administrative operations of the front desk of the clinic.

4. Keeps an organized calendar focusing on short
- and long-term clinic goals, manage initial clinic set up, policy rollout, etc.

5. Utilizes their vast knowledge of RAMQ to guide the medical team through the system when needed, advise on RAMQ related issues or concerns.

6. Has a background in the usage of EMR’s, medical billings, Health Canada, and Quebec Public Health standards, and the ESA.

7. Uses their managerial skillset to build a vibrant team; creates a supportive team-culture.

8. Understands the inner workings of physician management; aid in recruiting and onboarding of physicians.

9. Regularly reviews daily, weekly, monthly metrics and uses data to make strategic business choices to the benefit of each clinic.

10. Compiles clinic data to create in-depth reporting to provide to the senior management team on a regular schedule.

11. Develops a quarterly and annual business strategy that specific for each clinic individual needs while aligned with the over goal for all clinics within the network.

12. Analyzes and monitors Key Performance Indicators (schedule fill rates, clinic profits, expenses, retention, etc.) to identify trends, opportunities, deficiencies; creates action plans to positively impact sales and profit.

13. Resolves concerns promptly when they are escalated to them; keeping Service Obsessed culture at the forefront, shares best practices regarding patient retention and service with other clinics/managers to ensure consistency across all locations; puts the patient first, models service and care standards at all times

14. Works independently and proactively, takes initiative when appropriate.

15. First point of contact for Clinic Managers and Staff.

16. Partners with Medical Practitioners and Clinic Managers to ensure medical staff is adhering to treatment standards and are fully executing the clinic’s programs.

17. Work with National Director of Operations on Medical Staff when scheduling to provide the appropriate coverage needed for each clinic to operate at the highest level.

18. Recognizes marketing opportunities in their local area and work with the Marketing Team to create Jack Nathan Health brand awareness that will help achieve financial/ (patient) goals.

19. Gives HR regular and consistent feedback on current staffing levels, when recruitment or hiring efforts need to be increased, employee performance, reports gaps in services or scheduling,

20. Knows the appropriate Head Office support, for clinic needs such as: IT issues, payroll concerns, operations, and when to escalate to these departments.

21. Models the Jack Nathan Health® brand, values, and lifestyle and maintains a professional image at all times; sets high standards for self that is based upon competency model; builds an effective network within the company, across all clinics, and in the local market.

22. Travel between clinics.

23. Performs additional duties as assigned.
