**About Us**
The Sparwood Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting local business through advocacy, networking, and community events. We also operate the Sparwood Visitor Centre, welcoming thousands of guests each year.

**Position Overview**
The Chamber Administrator is the primary point of contact for the Sparwood Chamber of Commerce and plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position supports the Executive Director, manages membership services, helps coordinate events, and oversees office administration.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain membership records, process payments, and daily bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, reconciliations, payroll, and government remittances e.g. Payroll, T4’s, Receiver General, GST, PST,WCB remittance.
- Manage POS system for retail and ticket sales
- Assist with Chamber events, workshops, and networking sessions
- Handle newsletters, social media, and website updates
- Prepare promotional materials and marketing campaigns
- Greet visitors and manage Visitor Centre displays and stock
- Housekeeping duties and general office upkeep

**What We’re Looking For**
- 2+ years in administration or customer service
- Strong computer, social media, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer service experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable with occasional physical tasks (event setup, moving boxes)

**Job Details & Benefits**
- $22.00 - $25.00/hour, depending on experience
- Full-time, 40 hours/week, with some flexibility in scheduling
- Primarily weekday hours, with occasional evenings/weekends for events
- Health benefits after 3 months
- Paid vacation (starting at 2 weeks, increasing with service)
- 5 paid sick days/year
