We specialize in civil and earthworks for **municipal and commercial projects**. This is a leadership role that requires strong field experience, technical competence, and the ability to manage crews while operating equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage field crews, assigning and coordinating daily tasks
- Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment required for civil and earthworks projects
- Complete daily logs, including crew hours, equipment usage, trucking, and production tracking
- Coordinate with superintendents and project management to ensure labor, materials, and equipment are in place each day
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations, project specifications, and quality standards
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve field issues
- Foster a positive, productive, and safety-focused work environment
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance requirements

**Qualifications, Experience & Skills**
- **Minimum 10 years of experience** in civil works
- Proven experience in **civil construction and earthworks** (required)
- Strong leadership, communication, and crew-management skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- In-depth knowledge of civil construction methods, equipment, and safety regulations
- Proficient in operating a variety of excavation and earthmoving equipment
- Valid **Class 5 Driver’s License** and reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong attention to quality and workmanship

**Assets (Preferred but Not Required)**
- First Aid certification
- Confined Space training
- Fall Protection training

**Additional Requirements**
- Flexible availability, including overtime and weekend work as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour
