**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintaining daily performance expectations
- Coordinate/lead civil crew and subcontractors to ensure quality control, and meet project deadlines on time
- Maintain good employee morale, communication, and teamwork
- Complete employee timesheets for payroll, and other necessary safety or reporting documentation daily
- Understand OH&S safe work practices and procedures and ensure they are communicated and followed
- Familiarity in working around existing utilities
- Determine the priorities of work to be completed and organize employees and subcontractors to efficiently perform tasks
- Provide leadership and aid in training junior employees
- Provide feedback to supervisors and management on process improvements
- Identifying problems and innovation/team coordination

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 3 to 5 years of experience is required in utility construction
- Experience with heavy equipment and/or small tools
- Have knowledge of OH&S and knowledge of construction disciplines (knowledge of materials and methods required)
- Attention to detail
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Excellent people skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
