**Patent Clerk/Trainer - Toronto - Hybrid**

- The Role_
Your responsibilities are to provide support as a Patent Clerk and conduct internal patent filing/prosecution training.

**Job Requirements**:

- 4-6 years of relevant work experience as a Patent Assistant or Patent Clerk with expertise knowledge
- Prepare for various Patent Offices (including, but not limited to, Application Data Sheets, Petitions, National Entry Request Forms, Inventor Declarations, Power of Attorney Forms, Information Disclosure Statements, Terminal Disclaimers, Certificates of Correction, Assignment documents, Requests for Examination, Issue/Final Fee Payments, Voluntary Amendments and Requests for Reinstatement).
- Train new hires on new patent filings, prosecution procedures and related matters.
- Identify training needs of patent department; Prepare training documentation, in consultation with manager, for use by staff on patent filing/prosecution procedures.
- Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in any related field

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per hour
