**The opportunity**:
Marks & Clerk Canada is seeking a dynamic and experienced **Business Development Specialist**.

This is a key role that will help drive the growth of our business in Canada, as a member of our local team and reporting to the National Director of Business Development & Marketing.

In addition, you will be involved in key initiatives, including the implementation and adoption of CRM and technology tools, and delivery of BD training programs for our Canadian offices.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days in the office, in either our Ottawa or Toronto locations.

**Education, Business & Technical Expertise**
- Post-secondary degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years experience in a business development role in a professional service, law firm or corporate environment (IP, life sciences or technology focus an asset).
- CRM, Data & Technology: Experience using CRM/ERM and similar analytics tools to identify and track business development efforts and measure success. Experience using technology tools to create efficiencies and high-quality deliverables.
- Global Business Acumen: Understanding of and interest in global business development dynamics and ability to align local business initiatives with broader international strategies.
