**Working Periods**
- 8-week contract (with opportunity for extension and increase in hours)
- 2 days/week: Tuesdays & Thursdays (8:30am - 4:30 pm)
- Flexibility to work additional hours/days if needed
**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
- Bank Deposits
- Data entry in various systems and data maintenance
- Assist in year-end balancing and reconciliation
- Filing and record keeping
- Assisting with payroll processing
- Various accounting related tasks, as required
**Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge**
- Post-secondary education in business, accounting, or a related field
- 2-3 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience required
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong MS Office skills including Excel are required
- Experience with Sage 300 (AccPac) a definite asset
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes and propose solutions as needed.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
