Cannabis Store Manager

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following**:_
- Oversee all aspects of the retail store's operations, including inventory management, product displays, and cleanliness. Ensure compliance with all provincial and municipal regulations related to cannabis sales, safety, and security.
- Responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service, leading by example and supporting with training the retail staff on customer service standards.
- assign tasks, and manage staff performance and development.
- Schedule shifts and manage assign tasks ,providing feedback and coaching for employees and ensure that they are up to date with internal systems.
- Maintains a positive attitude that creates a positive work environment.
- Maintains technical industry knowledge and product knowledge, trains staff on products in store
- Keep up-to-date with changes in cannabis regulations and adjust store operations accordingly.
- Monitor inventory levels, track product expiry dates, and manage product restocking.

Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate records and prevent stock discrepancies.
- Assist with POS transactions and end of day cash reconciliation report any discrepancies.
- Report on any suspicious incidents of guest or team member behavior to the Store Manager.
- Enforce all company policies and programs (workplace hygiene), ensuring compliance.
- Adhere to all legislative requirements of cannabis retailers, including federal, provincial and municipal legislation.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and customer-focused service.

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Available to work various shifts not limited to days, evenings, weekdays, weekends, some holidays.
- Valid CannSell certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Desire and the ability to develop a positive, in-depth understanding of cannabis
- 3 years plus experience in a similar scope of role successfully leading a team
- Detail-oriented and able to handle cash, POS (Greenline, Cova or any related cannabis POS ) register and all sales transactions
- Proven track record with demonstrated sales and customer service skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently/unsupervised
- Exemplary communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn and train and educate others in processes, procedures, and products
- Meet the physical demands of a retail environment including transporting up to 11 kg
- Technologically proficient in use with tablets, MS Office, Google Docs, and other operating systems including troubleshooting.
- Education in business administration, sales or relevant fields is desirable however not an asset.
- Previous retail management experience, preferably in the cannabis industry.
- In-depth knowledge of cannabis products, strains, consumption methods, and their effects.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
