**Description of Job - Executive Administrator**

**Reports to**:Chief Executive Officer
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Executive Administrator will manage projects and activities for the board, senior leadership team, and committees, organize meetings and write correspondence and other communications on behalf of the CEO.
- Provide administrative support to the CEO including organization of large or key stakeholders’ meetings and committees as required and issuing key communication items.
- Coordinate, write, edit and distribute communication to board members. staff and other stakeholders. Meet with key stakeholders as required.
- Maintain various records and documents for the Board of Directors, Chairperson, CEO and senior leadership team.
- Maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Complete a variety of special projects including hosting meetings with partners and stakeholders. This would also include from time-to-time presentations, spreadsheets, special reports, and other related documents.
- Maintain paper and electronic filing systems of Board and other key documents.
- Support Human Resources in providing payroll and other services when HR Manager is away. This would be in conjunction with other Managers and Directors.
- Develop key roles and responsibilities on special projects as assigned by the CEO.
- Handle payments and related computer system payments.
- Develop and implement customer service areas as required throughout LDE and its events.
- Work with volunteers, committees, as required.
- Work with Directors and be part of the senior management team.
- Work standard office hours for the majority of the time - some Signature events during the year will require extended hours.
- Standard office environment for most of the time.
- Ability to be physically mobile for extended periods of time during events - freedom of movement, walking, and standing is required.
- Family orientated operation.
**Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in business administration or communications or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and appropriately with high-level professional boards, committees, volunteers and executive staff.
- Knowledge of MS Office, TEAMS, and databases.
- Ability to meet with stakeholders, clients, and other independently representing LDE.
- Knowledge of Accounting and Human Resources would be an asset.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability and strong work ethics.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check for the duration of employment.

- Time-management skills and a proven track record of delivering quality results, with attention to details.
- Computer proficiency required including advanced Excel, Word, Outlook, databases and general internet skills.
- Responsible, accountable and solutions focused - you deliver on promises and take the initiative.
- Up for a challenge - you are ready to take on a demanding position where you can share in the wins of the organization alongside colleagues across various departments.

- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required dependent on hazards associated with work activities.
