**Are you the person who can look at a technical drawing and just**_**get it**_**? If so, we want to talk to you.**

Affinity Manufacturing is a busy custom manufacturing shop in Surrey. We build precision parts for all sorts of industries. We're looking for a motivated person to join our team as a Technical Specialist.

Don't worry about having a fancy degree or decades of experience. What truly matters to us is that you have the core skill**:you can read and understand mechanical drawings.** If you have that, we are excited to teach you the rest

**What You'll Be Doing**:
This is a hands-on role where you'll be the crucial link between our customers' ideas and our finished products. You will:

- **Translate the Plans**: Look at customer drawings and figure out all the important details—materials, dimensions, and how we need to make it.
- **Support Our Production Team**: Turn those drawings into clear work orders for our skilled team on the shop floor. You'll be their go-to person for any technical questions.
- **Talk with Customers**: You'll be a key technical voice for our company. You’ll sit in on meetings (both online and in-person) and talk directly with clients to make sure we understand exactly what they need.

**The one skill you MUST have**:

- A solid ability to read and interpret mechanical/technical drawings. If you can look at a blueprint and visualize the part, you're the person we're looking for.

**What we will teach you (any experience here is a bonus)**:

- How to use our manufacturing software (Pro-Shop ERP).
- The ins and outs of project coordination in a custom-parts environment.
- Professional communication for B2B and B2C client meetings.
- How to provide top-notch technical customer support.

- **Pay**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour. We pay based on your core skill level and what you bring to the team.
