**Job Overview**:
The **Operations Manager**will oversee and manage all aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role will involve leading cross-functional teams, managing resources, improving processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within our electronic manufacturing facility.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Oversee Production Operations**: Manage daily manufacturing activities, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- **Process Optimization**: Continuously analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, minimize waste, and reduce costs.
- **Resource Management**: Oversee the allocation and utilization of materials, equipment, and labor to meet production targets.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead, train, and motivate a team of operators, technicians, and supervisors to ensure high performance and productivity.
- **Quality Assurance**: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to meet product specifications and regulatory standards.
- **Supply Chain and Inventory Management**: Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure materials are available when needed and manage inventory levels to reduce stock outs or excess inventory.
- **Budgeting and Cost Management**: Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective practices while maintaining high-quality standards.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**: Promote a culture of safety by ensuring the team adheres to company safety policies and industry regulations.
- **Data and Reporting**: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on production, quality, and operational efficiency to senior management.
- **Problem-Solving**: Address operational challenges promptly, identify root causes, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in an electronic manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing production processes, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in supervising cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations within manufacturing environments.
- Proficient in using manufacturing software and ERP systems.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
