**Position Summary**:The Venue Lead AV Technician is responsible for delivering the bb Blanc Magic to our clients at our partner venue, The Arlington Estate in Vaughan, ON. Together with having an encompassing background in all elements of event technology and customer service, the Venue Lead AV Technician has a passion for live events and is also skilled at working independently and getting the best out of the people and resources they oversee. They exemplify a passion for live events and are self-motivated to learn and grow with the company.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Carry out operational/technical duties for all Social Events at assigned venue
- Set up, operation and dismantling of audiovisual equipment
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving equipment and software issues
- Responsible for proper security, storage, transportation, and maintenance of equipment
- Ensure all equipment required to execute events is properly entered in IntelliEvent
- Coordinate delivery/pickup logistics with Main Warehouse operations
- Monitor and manage inventory control of equipment
- Responsible for client and partner event venue liaison
- Supervision and training of technical staff/personnel as required
- Complete all required documentation and reports
- Participates in weekly venue operations meetings
- Other duties as assigned by Social Event Manager

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- 3-5 + years’ experience as an AV Technician or Lead AV Technician
- Minimum 2 years in a similar venue environment
- Strong technical knowledge of Audio, Video, Projection, Computer, and Lighting equipment (light jockey experience an asset)
- Self-motivated with excellent customer service skills proven through a demonstrated ability to interact well with people and help others
- Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and with several key stake holders at the same time
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
- Heavy lifting, and steel toe shoes / boots will be required
- Willingness to work flexible hours, mainly evenings and weekends
