**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Process accounts receivable transactions and ensure accurate data entry into accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft.
- Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records and resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct analysis of accounts to identify overdue payments and initiate collection efforts.
- Collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries related to their accounts and payment status.
- Utilize negotiation skills to facilitate payment arrangements when necessary.
- Maintain organized documentation of all transactions and communications for audit purposes.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks as needed, including journal entries and financial reporting.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft is essential.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting practices.
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills for account analysis and reconciliation tasks.
- Effective negotiation skills to manage payment discussions with clients.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette.
- Solid math skills for accurate financial calculations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
