Haldimand Commercial Maintenance is seeking motivated, talented individuals to grow within our organization. We are a year-round employer working in the construction industry and perform winter control operations within the Haldimand County area.

We are currently hiring AZ/DZ Drivers with Snow Plow experience to join our growing team.

We are also offering a shift premium, paid out at the end of winter, as a bonus incentive. Please call for more information.

**Salary**: $28.00 per hour *for Winter Operations only*, plus shift premium

**Responsibilities**:

- Safe and efficient operation of spreader, plow wing, combo unit to perform snow removal on local roads as per the contract requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation included but not limited to, fuel reports, timesheets, safety reports and hours of service
- Operate specialized equipment, including winter equipment, as trained and required
- Must be available 24 hours per day 7 days per week and able to respond to the yard within 30 minutes for winter season.

**Requirements**:

- DZ or AZ license with a clean driver’s abstract required
- Previous experience in snow plow operations an asset, but not required
- Available to respond to call-ins within thirty minutes
- Ability to work assigned shifts, and extended hours (evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays) as winter events require
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
- Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $40.00 per hour
