**Position Overview**

Although this position is contract-based for the snow season, there is a possibility to transition into a full-time, year-round position for the right person.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Lift 50 pounds or more as required for snow removal tasks.
- Stay on your feet for extended periods, working outdoors in all conditions.
- Start early morning shifts as early as 2 a.m., with flexibility for varying start times.
- Operate sweepers, backpack blowers, shovels, and other snow removal equipment.
- Work independently with mínimal supervision but also collaborate with the team as needed.
- Communicate effectively with management and the public, solving problems as they arise.
- Show up reliably to every shift, even during severe weather conditions, and complete assigned tasks efficiently.

**Support on Challenging Shifts**
While the role can be physically demanding, help will be provided during more challenging shifts, especially during heavy snowfalls. Our team ensures that you are supported to meet the workload requirements, so you can focus on completing tasks safely and effectively.

**Education & Training**:

- High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
- A Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract are required.
- Previous snow removal experience is an asset.
- Attention to detail and a strong desire to get the job done right the first time.
- Motivation to achieve high-quality results while following company standards.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work early morning shifts and extended hours when required.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision after training is completed.

**Job Types**:

- Contract length: 6 months
- Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
