We are looking for a hardworking, punctual individuals to fulfill a full-time position as a Heavy Equipment Operator

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

**Primary Responsibilities**

Inspection of equipment before and after use to ensure proper functionality

Loading, unloading, and moving materials to appropriate storage areas

Following all safety procedures while operating equipment

Performing regular maintenance (refuelling, fluid checks, lubrication) and minor repairs when necessary

Reporting equipment issues, unusual conditions, and spillage immediately to Supervisor

Staging materials to be brought down for Underground Operations

Emptying garbage bins

Maintaining good housekeeping at storage areas

Snow removal during winter months
Keep work area clean, tidy and free from unsafe conditions at all times

Assist the management team with planning projects, providing input and recommendations to safely initiate, the most efficient and effective approach

All other activities as assigned by the Site Services Supervisor

**Qualifications**

Minimum 3 years’ experience as heavy equipment operator (excavator, loader, and forklift)

Ability to follow directives.

Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record required

A commitment to health, safety, environment, and community

Works effectively independently and collaboratively

Communication Skills: Communicates clearly and listens carefully in an open candid and consistent manner.

Team Player: Establishes trust with team members, stating clear expectations and recognizes group morale and acts to protect and/or build as required.

Self-motivated: Initiates and takes action before being required to do so

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
