Decathlon arrived in Canada in 2018, with its first store opening in Brossard, Québec. Today, Decathlon Canada has over 1000 teammates, more than 15 stores, two distribution centers, and an e-commerce platform that services our mission: make the benefits of sports accessible to as many people as possible.

Events and Partnerships Leader
The Events and Partnerships Leader at Decathlon Canada plays a key role in developing partnerships, leading in-store events, participating in local events, and managing human capital. Their aim is to enhance the company's visibility, promote customer engagement, and build beneficial relationships with the local sporting community.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local sports organizations
- Monitor and evaluate requests for partnerships and sponsorship with local organizations
- Seek out opportunities for brand representation and involvement in local events
- Supervise the logistics of events
- Recruit coaches and manage the store's sports areas according to procedures
- Organize events in store and participate to the creation of a unique customer experience
- Document and communicate on the store's participation to outside events and on in-store events with the help of the national communication team
- Promote the store's community involvement on social media with the help of the regional social media manager
- Contribute to the company's on-going improvement
