This Position reports to:
Finance Manager
This role reports to North America HUB Controller
The work model for the role is: Onsite
This role is contributing to the Switchboard manufacturing plant located in Montreal. In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner with the plant manager to define and implement operation strategies. Each day, you will identify trends and problems and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of the specific factory/manufacturing site.
**Your Role: Own the Challenge**
- Performing analyses of business performance versus plan and proposing improvement actions.
- Benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar sites within ABB.
- Preparing financial modelling for various hypotheses and assessing impact to factory with special focus on product / business line profitability, product costing, production variances, over/under-absorption analysis / inventory analysis.
- Supporting the preparation of the relevant organization month-end closing, financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting and providing information to the management by gathering and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
**What it takes to run what runs the world**
- +7 years of experience in Operations finance role.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance / Controlling
- Advanced proficiency in SAP.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Excellent command of French and English (written and spoken). French is required. English is also required to regularly communicate with clients outside Quebec.
