**This position reports to**:
Country Holding Officer

**Your role and responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Country Real Estate Manager, you will be a vital member of team as finance business partner collaborating with the real estate team and supporting the local businesses in all matters associated with ABB’s real estate occupancy and operating costs. You will help develop the real estate strategy in line with wider division and product group strategies. In this role, you will provide key support to the business, ensuring accurate tracking and processing of all transactions. You will translate business strategy into plans and establish measurable targets, evaluate the financial implications of various strategic decisions, identify risks and recommend actions. Overseeing the business financial reporting, planning and forecasting processes for Canada Real Estate and serving as the interface with all the local business units as well as coordination with the Global Real Estate Group Performing financial analysis and developing recommendations to support real estate cost optimization strategies and sustainability goals Monitoring and controlling real estate investments, commitment and operational expenses, taking relevant actions to ensure continuous improvement on relevant KPIs Ensuring compliance with ABB Governance and external regulatory requirements Establishing and overseeing processes and tools to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information Ensuring timely and efficient communication with relevant Controllers, the Accounting Center and others to identify and discuss issues, and suggest improvements

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Five plus years of experience in an accounting or controlling role
- Experience with accounting systems and financial reporting software, including Readsoft, SAP, CRIMS, RELEX & GMAS
- Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to multitask
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and verbal communication skills
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or real estate
- French is essential. English is also required as this position will service internal and external clients from other provinces.
- Current right to work in Canada
