Hotel Cost Control Analyst

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor and analyze hotel costs, including food & beverage, labor, utilities, and other operational expenses.
- Implement cost control strategies to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with department heads to establish cost benchmarks and monitor variances.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and recommend budget adjustments.
- Conduct inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies in purchasing and usage.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and industry cost-control standards.
- Analyze vendor pricing and negotiate cost-effective procurement contracts.
- Support financial forecasting and budgeting by providing accurate cost estimates.
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in cost control, financial analysis, or hotel operations.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, financial reporting tools, and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros, SAP).
- Knowledge of hotel cost structures, including F&B cost percentages, labor efficiency, and utility management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different hotel departments.
- **Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin), both written and spoken.**
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in cost control for hotels, resorts, or F&B operations.
- Familiarity with hospitality accounting standards (USALI, GAAP).
- Professional certification in cost control or financial management is a plus.
