**Distribution Specialist/Business Analyst**

The primary responsibilities of this role are to serve as the escalation point for our distribution partners, support strategic growth plans for the channel, and manage point of sales and inventory analytics.

Provide accurate and meaningful analysis to drive decision-making.

**What does a Distribution Specialist/Business Analyst do?**
- In-depth analysis of Sales trends, POS & inventory usage
- Assist in distribution forecasting and achieving monthly distribution order and revenue numbers
- Schedule, prepare, and present business reviews with channel partners as needed
- Prepare and present distribution-related content for Operation Reviews, Budget, and Strategic meetings as needed
- Develop an overall ACC price list by analyzing costing, market competitiveness and inputs from managers (Marketing, Distribution and Business Development Managers)
- Serve as an escalation point for all distribution pricing, delivery, and strategy discussions
- Responding to special pricing requests from customers
- Maintain & track Long Term Agreements (LTA’s)
- Support customer questions with general product knowledge
- Support in maintaining & enhancing branch-level relationships through RDSM collaboration.
- Act as a key reporting officer between multiple departments (i.e. Marketing, Management, Operations, and Sales)
- Provide forecast/budgeting reports to key audiences and provide variance analyses if necessary
- Prepare period-end corporate reports for actual and forecasted sales by various details such as product lines, geographical channels, and customers
- Responsible for creating and maintaining Excel tools that cater to the needs of key audiences such as the management and Marketing teams
- Complete ad-hoc requests as needed
- All related duties as required

**What you bring to the table**
- 5 years of related experience
- Strong analytical capabilities and ability to summarize findings
- Advanced Excel User: able to manipulate datasets with the highest degree of flexibility incorporating pivot tables, and complex formulas.
- Experience in marketing or financial analysis and reporting
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
- Able to learn new ideas quickly and adapt to the changing environment.
- Post-secondary education is preferred

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Superb understanding of the business operations and provide analytics with meaningful insights that will aid the management's understanding (i.e. cost analysis, profitability analysis, product/customer mix)
