People and Culture Administrator
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:
As the People & Culture Administrator, you contribute to talent acquisition, training and development, and employee engagement strategies for the Paladin Kamloops Branch. You are also a main point of contact for the office and play a key role in supporting our new employees.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Recruit for current job openings by posting up to date job ads on our careers page as well as advertising to external sources when necessary.
- Recommend recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Support organizing and delivering new employee orientation and pre-deployment training.
- Schedule external training sessions such Occupational First Aid training.
- Ensure employee records are up to date with necessary training and certificates, and ensuring employees are completing all necessary courses through Paladin’s online Learning Management System (LMS).
- Maintain employee tracking system and publish weekly recruitment and training reports.
- Sign out uniforms to Security Officers, fulfill uniform requests, keep the inventory updated, and ensure uniform items are ordered as needed.
- Provide employment verification for front-line staff.
- Upload documentation and maintain employee personnel files.
- Manage the front end of the office by assisting visitors and answering the main phone.
- Assist the office with other duties as required.

**EDUCATION, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Previous education or experience in human resources preferred.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Strategic thinking and problem solving.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Proficiency in computer usage. Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite and WinTeam.
