We are looking for a Director, Business Development to help grow our business and contribute to our future.

The Director, Business Development will play a critical role in driving the organization's strategic growth by identifying, cultivating, and managing business opportunities. This position is responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-term partnerships with key stakeholders, expanding the company’s market presence, and leading a team to execute business development initiatives.

The Director, Business Development will be a key driver of ISC’s growth strategy, leveraging relationships, insights, and innovative thinking to propel the organization forward. This role is ideal for a dynamic, strategic professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about building meaningful partnerships.

Reporting to the Vice-President, Corporate Development & Business Strategy, other highlights include:

- Lead and develop a high-performing business development team, fostering collaboration, and alignment with ISC's growth goals.
- Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with ISC's growth and objectives.
- Lead and manage end-to-end procurements processes including Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring compelling, value-driven, tailored solutions and responses.
- Cultivate long-term client and stakeholder partnerships, drive lead generation, and act as a trusted advisor to the organization’s clients.
- Lead market intelligence initiatives to inform business strategies and align products with customer demand.
- Represent ISC at conferences, events, and build industry connections.

What you’ll need:

- Post-secondary degree in a relevant field, with 7+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or related disciplines.
- Experience engaging with government clients and navigating complex procurement processes is an asset.
- Strong ability to translate technical and business requirements for diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of building and managing long-term client relationships, with a deep understanding of their needs and business goals.
- Demonstrated success in identifying and closing integrated solutions across various industries.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and drive collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience showcasing products and services, including at industry events.
- Experience in an evolving product environment, balancing existing offerings with emerging solutions.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry engagements.
