Vie Junior Infrastructure Project Manager

As part of its development, Vinci Highways is looking for its concession in New Brunswick (Canada) a Junior Project Manager reporting to the Construction Lead of the concession. The Project Manager is responsible for providing assistance to more senior staff (Construction Lead, Senior Project Managers, Superintendents) in the coordination, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting, and quality control functions of the project.

This is a task-based role that requires working knowledge of core elements of the project:
Engineering Control
- Ensures the Construction team is using the relevant Drawings.
- Ensures the compliance with technical and contractual requirements.
- Elaborate staging for critical tasks

Monitoring
- Monitors the progress and performance for production
- Manages the quality testing, follow up the recording
- Monitor quantities and schedule to support cost control
- Provides inputs for change orders and commercial discussion
- Monitors performance.
- Reports progress (Schedule update)

Methods
- Elaborates operations methods, to be able to provide optimized solution for reducing the length of lane closures
- Elaborate staging for critical tasks
- Analyze the Construction Subcontractor’s method / organization and provides optimizations when needed

Quality
- Monitors performance with KPI’s in line with Project objectives
- Ensures testing is done as required
- Ensures testing records are done accordingly with Handback requirements

**Profile**:
Higher education in Infrastructure Construction, Design or Engineering (Engineering school, University,...) ideally with knowledge in pavement or structures.

Good capacity for autonomy and teamwork.

Proactivity.

English (written and spoken) fluent.

Good Excel level, and office pack in general.

Successful experience (internship or other) in an international infrastructure project management.

Type of contract: VIE - duration: 24 months
