**RESET CORE** Learning Program supports learners in self-awareness, learning habits and lifelong learning through understanding, practice and habit-forming implementation. The program facilitates understanding neuroplasticity and how the brain learns through a structured research-based model.

**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**

To meet the needs associated with our growth, we are seeking **on-call contract Mandarin Tutors** to guide students' learning experience and deliver various private tutoring classes or the RESET Afterschool Mandarin programs at our West Broadway location:
2509 West Broadway, Vancouver.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Create engaging, student-centered Mandarin language learning experiences for learners in **Grades K-12**:

- Teach reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in Mandarin
- Adapt lesson plans and teaching methods based on students’ language level and learning needs
- Deliver lessons aligned with **YCT and HSK TEST** frameworks, tailored to each student’s proficiency level
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to learners and families
- Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment that promotes cultural appreciation and confidence in language use

**POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**
- **Minimum 3 years of experience** teaching Mandarin to children and youth
- Demonstrated experience using **YCT/HSK curriculum and assessment frameworks**:

- Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin (oral and written)
- Proficiency in English (oral and written)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English
- Ability to tailor lessons for individual learners based on their goals and proficiency
- Patient, friendly, and culturally sensitive teaching approach

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Must be available for at least 3~5 hours per week.
