**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to students' learning objectives.
- Develop customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student goals.
- Assess students’ progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure comprehension and retention.
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student engagement and confidence.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff regarding progress and areas for improvement.
- Utilize various teaching techniques to accommodate different learning styles.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and feedback.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or young adults.
- Strong command of English; proficiency in additional languages such as Mandarin, and Korean is a plus.
- Excellent writing skills for creating instructional materials and providing feedback.
- Familiarity with classroom dynamics and educational best practices.
- Ability to build rapport with students while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in lesson planning and record keeping.

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
