**Job Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. Your ability to multitask and communicate effectively will ensure a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners.

**Duties**
- Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere.
- Schedule appointments, manage the calendar, and confirm upcoming visits.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and handle necessary paperwork efficiently.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
- Assist veterinary staff with laboratory duties as needed, including preparing samples for testing.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Provide information about pet care products and services available at the clinic.

**Skills**
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Proficiency in using office equipment and software (Advantage) for scheduling and record-keeping.
- Previous experience in a veterinary or medical setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures is a plus, enhancing support for veterinary staff.
- Compassionate demeanor towards animals and their owners, fostering trust and rapport.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 32 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Veterinary Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
