We're a family owned and operated farm brewery located in North Langley on MacInnes Farms, just up the hill and around the bend from the historic village of Fort Langley.

Locality was born out of a passion for local farming and a love of community. We grow and market our own Barley and Hops as Be Ingredients and operate Locality Brewing both right here on the farm

To make an excellent beer you need premium ingredients and a solid relationship between Farmer and Maltster.

At Locality we grow and process our own ingredients side by side. By malting our own grain, and processing our own hops (also fruit, nuts & honey) we are able to bring a unique and highly local beer to market.

100% homegrown, Fraser Valley farm beer, from field to glass.

As an Events Assistant you will be responsible for assisting in event client communications, serving as the first point of contact for events, conducting consultations, following up with clients, booking events, coordinating the events calendar with the Events Manager, facilitating the set-up, execution, and clean-up of events, working with the Events Manager and General Manager to create events packages and marketing through our media sources, creating physical marketing tools to encourage new bookings, conducting marketing outreach to book more events during slower months, creating and expanding vendor lists for different event packages, collecting media from events for use in other marketing forms, updating the website and tourism portals with event information, and developing event and brewery merchandise through automated templates and online design tools.

This role is funded by the Government of Canada through the SWPP placement for applicants under the age of 18 to 30, looking to gain experience in Event planning.

Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
