TerraLogix Solutions Inc. (Terralogix) was founded in 2002 and since its inception has specialized in Environmental Management in the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry. TerraLogix is built on providing excellent environmental management services while still providing cost effective environmental solutions for the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry. We are experienced in the development and coordination of environmental assessment programs, environmental project management and on-site project supervision. Currently TerraLogix’s offices are located in Calgary, Edmonton, and Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Terralogix Solutions Inc. is recruiting a Full Time Accounting Administrator for their Calgary office. The Accounting Administrator will report to the Principles and be responsible for accounting tasks for Terralogix Solutions and its subsidiaries.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration with a major in accounting;
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, benefits, bank and credit card reconciliation;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Must be detail oriented, and able to multi-task
- Must be organized, self-motivated and work with minimum supervision
- Experience with QuickBooks, Payworks, ADP-Open Invoice, Pandell Jobutrax and Cortex would be an asset
Duties and Responsibilities:
Full cycle accounting:
- Accounts receivable, accounts payable;
- Weekly Cheque runs - use of third party payment portal and physical cheques;
- Monthly account/bank/credit card reconciliations;
- GST, Federal and Provincial Corporate Tax processing
Payroll processing:
- Monthly timesheet review;
- Payroll processing in Payworks - Mid-month and end of month;
- Expense report review, processing and payment;
- ROE creation and separation payments;
- Administrator of company benefit programs, includes setup, termination and maintenance.
Report Preparation:
- Prepare monthly financial reporting and present to shareholders;
- Year-end tax document preparation for external auditors and posting adjusting entries;
Administration:
- Provide support to Shareholders and their Personal Companies;
- Loan agreements between Holding Company and Operating Company;
- Communicate with clients to resolve coding or invoicing issues as required;
- Monitor/manage monthly operating cost looking for savings;
