**The Opportunity**:
The Community Services Division (CSV) at the City of Red Deer plays a crucial role in providing essential services and enhancing the quality of life and well-being of our citizens. This supervisor role is responsible for the effective, efficient, and customer-focused operations of the CSV Business Development & Partner Supports Section within the CSV Business Excellence Department.
This position plays a key role in supporting CSV’s goals through overseeing the effective business development and administration of the Division’s grants, contractual partnerships, and community partner relationships. Primary responsibilities include providing strategic guidance to optimize asset use, manage investments, and maximize contributions, all of which serve a wide array of citizens and community partners.
University degree in business administration, commerce, public administration, or a related field. A postgraduate degree is an advantage.
Additional coursework in management, leadership, project management, process improvement, design thinking and program evaluation is beneficial.
5+ years of progressive management and business development experience.
Experience in community development, community partnerships, public administration, or facility operations.
Demonstrated skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, and collaboration. Experience with unionized environments and collective agreements is advantageous.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Effective communicator, with strong public speaking, report writing, and proposal drafting skills.
Customer-focused, with experience in high-stakes community or project work requiring confidentiality and professionalism.
Ability to manage time-sensitive projects with changing priorities, while maintaining composure in high-profile, sensitive situations.

**Remuneration**:
$49.69 to $62.11 per hour.
$97,260 to $121,575 per annum.
**Hours of Work**:
75 hours biweekly, Monday to Friday. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
