**Job Summary**

Reporting to the Owner of Frozen Solid Ltd., the Fleet Manager is responsible for managing all trucks and trailers of Frozen Solid Ltd. This person must be able to manage their own time accordingly and agree to work weekends or nights when needed. Managers must always stay current with provincial and federal labor standards as well as new and existing commercial transportation procedures.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Knowledge of how to handle materials safely, such as food or dry products
- Familiarity with using navigation systems: Geotab
- Excellent Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule

**Education and Experience Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean driving record
- No DUI convictions in the past ten years
- Minimum of 5 (five) years trucking industry experience
- Minimum of 2 (two) years Management Experience in the trucking/distribution field

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensure that Frozen Solid is in compliance with all commercial and transportation policies
- Ensure all drivers are kept safe while on the road
- Use Geo Tab for fleet management and ELD compliance
- File and manage all pre/post trip, logbooks and HOS using Geotab
- Keep safety/maintenance manual current and up to date
- Schedule all CVIPs and services for all trucks, trailers, reefers of entire fleet
- Onsite support of all traffic accidents
- Oversee recruitment and supervision of Class 1 drivers
- Provide input to the running of monthly safety meetings
- Daily scheduling of all class 1 drivers
- Able to complete minor repairs on all equipment
- Responsible for all hiring and termination of class 1 drivers
- Complete quarterly analysis of expenditures and recommendations provided to owner
- Generate ongoing ideas for overall efficiencies, system changes, and policy changes

Other related duties as required

**Salary and Benefits**

The pay rate for this position is $73,333 - $81,667 annually with 2 weeks’ vacation and an Employee Health Benefit plan.

**Salary**: $73,333.00-$81,667.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- On call
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
