The **Facilities & Fleet Manager** ensures Lux Windows’ facilities and vehicle fleet operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. Based primarily in **Calgary**, with occasional travel to **Edmonton**, this role supports production and delivery operations by maintaining a safe, well-organized environment for employees, equipment, and vehicles; helping the Lux deliver high-quality windows on time, every time.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Facilities Management**
- Manage daily operation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and offices (interior & exterior) in Calgary and Edmonton.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs for machinery and building systems.
- Ensure compliance with Alberta OHS and other standards.
- Coordinate contractors, service providers, and vendors.
- Plan facility expansions, relocations, or layout changes.
- Monitor budgets and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

**Fleet Management**
- Oversee vehicle fleet (vans, trucks, company cars).
- Manage maintenance, repairs, insurance, registration, and replacements.
- Ensure compliance with transportation laws and company safety standards.
- Track fuel, mileage, and utilization for efficiency.
- Coordinate vehicle availability with installation and delivery teams.
- Maintain accurate records of fleet operations and costs.

**Leadership & Administration**
- Supervise facilities team and training on safety/operations.
- Develop and enforce policies for facilities and fleet.
- Respond to emergencies to minimize disruption.
- Collaborate with production, installation, and logistics teams.

**Qualifications**

**Required**
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-7 years in facilities and fleet management, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
- Knowledge of building systems, fleet operations, and safety standards.
- Vendor, contract, and budget management experience.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; CMMS or fleet software is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to Edmonton occasionally.

**Preferred**
- Facilities or fleet management certifications (FMP, CFM, IFMA, etc.).
- Supervisory experience with small-to-medium teams.
- Familiarity with manufacturing workflows, logistics, and delivery scheduling.

**Working Conditions**
- Combination of office, production floor, and site visits.
- Occasional after-hours or emergency response may be required.
- Travel between Calgary and Edmonton facilities and customer sites.
