**Here's a few examples**:
You can buy a car entirely online, without any salespeople involved
You can have your new car delivered to your driveway, usually the same day
You can spend a week with your vehicle to decide if you love it, and if you don't we'll pick it up
**Key responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the overall maintenance, upkeep, and quality of our fleet
- Directly oversees the ON fleet maintenance team
- Ensures the fleet is always capable of fulfilling dispatch requirements
- Communicate with Driver Managers and Dispatch on preventative maintenance that is scheduled for the current and following day
- Work closely with the Maintenance Coordinator to resolve any unexpected damage on fleet equipment and plan for preventative maintenance.
- Communicate with Driver Managers and Dispatch on any issues that concern fleet equipment condition
- Communicate with Driver Managers on any alerts for unsafe driving and policy violations
- Oversee Maintenance Coordinator responsibilities and help where needed
- Manage the Daily Truck Combo list to ensure efficient usage and rotation of truck and trailers
- Handle procurement of new vehicles and trucks and trailers going through the landing process
- Weekly check of National Safety Code documents and vehicle registrations
- Daily check that trucks and trailers are washed and follow up with Stagers if necessary
- Ad-hoc projects

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership experience
- Technically proficient
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing demands of the department.
- Very strong organizational and filing skills and High attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Truck/trailer knowledge and a passion to learn more about the auto industry
