As Director of Transportation, you will be responsible for establishing fleet strategy, managing budgets, and leading a team of managers, supervisors and drivers, promoting company culture and providing vision for your team. The company does a lot of complex transportation with highly perishable, sensitive product, so experience with produce, flowers, refrigerated, or similar is required. 10+ years of transportation management experience.
• Senior leadership experience; proven ability to bring value through strategic collaboration with a senior management team.
• Experienced with CVOR compliance, dispatch software, routing software.
• Experienced with fleet management budgets, including equipment, maintenance and fuel.
