**Fleet & Warehouse Manager (Brampton)**

**Description**

The Fleet & Warehouse Manager is an integral part of SCOOTY’s electric scooter fleet success. The Fleet and Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of SCOOTY’s warehouse operations and electric scooter fleet including technical servicing, repair and maintenance. This individual will work closely with SCOOTY’s City Operations Manager, Service Technicians, Fleet Associates and Executive Management. This role will also be responsible for ensuring that SCOOTY’s electric scooters are in good working order everyday, recharged and that they are properly maintained, stored, and distributed to meet the daily demands of our riders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage a team of service technicians responsible for the maintenance, repair and recharging of our electric scooters.
- Develop and implement procedures for the efficient management of our warehouse and fleet operations ensuring that all scooters and equipment are properly maintained and stored in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with the City Operations Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our fleet and warehouse, ensuring the entire fleet is always charged and ready for rider use.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts and supplies and receive and provide necessary training on technical servicing and maintenance to all fleet service technicians and operations associates.
- Create procedures and guidelines to foster a safe and collaborative warehouse working environment and ensure that all employees follow safety procedures and that the warehouse and fleet operations comply with all applicable safety regulations.
- Prepare reports on fleet and warehouse operations, including performance metrics, maintenance and repair costs, and inventory levels.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve the efficiency of the warehouse.
- Manage and motivate the warehouse team to ensure meeting/exceeding weekly performance targets.
- Support City Operations Manager with developing and managing warehouse and service technician weekly working schedules and adjust accordingly to improve efficiency.
- Become designated point of contact for all technical issues and in-field repair requests that arise from City Operations Manager.

**Requirements**:

- College/Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, IT Management,
Electrician or a related field is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in technical servicing, people training/management, or fleet and warehouse management is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure with mínimal supervision.
- Proven experience in people management and exceptional time management.
- Knowledge of warehouse and inventory management systems and processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to train fleet service technicians.
- Workplace health and safety training experience is required.
- Daily on-site work in Brampton with flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends, as needed.
- Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must have a valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Criminal background check and driver’s record check is required.
- Strong understanding of electric scooter operations & city e-scooter regulations is a plus.
- Experience in electric vehicle maintenance and repair is a plus.
