Key Graduate Peer Mentor Responsibilities:

- Create and oversee a plan for outreach and facilitation of two graduate student events/experiences, including feedback and evaluation.
- Collect data from mentee participants.
- Provide administrative support, as required.
- You will be part of a team that strives to create a diverse and inclusive community where students, faculty and staff feel welcome, are treated equitably, and can thrive in their various endeavors.

Hours of work: 112 hours per term from May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026

**Salary**: $3,699.68 for full appointment (Salary information can be found in the ULGSA Collective Agreement)
Reports to: Manager, Graduate Student Engagement, School of Graduate Studies

- You are registered in a graduate program for Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Winter 2026. NOTE: This is required as part of eligibility for a graduate assistantship per the ULGSA Collective Agreement.
- You are able to work weekend and evenings, when necessary.
- You have demonstrated commitment to valuing equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- You are a self-starter and ready to independently manage a variety of tasks.
- You are skilled at building and strengthening relationships and can work effectively with students, staff, faculty, etc.
- You understand the importance of graduate mentors and how effective mentor/mentee relationships can enhance the student experience.
- You enjoy collaborating with creative teams in coordinating, preparing, and producing deliverables for two targeted graduate student experiences/events.
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to bridge the gap between the institution and the student experience.
- **Attendance at in-person training on the University of Lethbridge Campus, in May Date (TBD) from 830 AM to 430 PM is required.
