**Position Details**

**Overview**:
Our Healthcare Workforce research project focuses on the health and well-being of nursing professionals, examining how their daily self-care actions influence their quality of life, work-life balance, and the care/ service they provide to patients. Additionally, we aim to understand what healthcare organizations are currently doing or could do to support the overall health and well-being of nursing professionals.

Graduate Assistant wages will be paid according to Schedule A of the ULGSA Collective Agreement.

Employment is for 8 to 10 hours per week from August to December 2025.

**Major Tasks and Duties**:
The duties of the RA (Research) position include, but are not limited to:

- Creating a code document for cleaning and analyzing survey data using SPSS.
- Cleaning the survey data.
- Analyzing the data using SPSS (e.g., univariate, bivariate and multivariate analyses).
- Preparing analysis tables for various research papers.
- Attending team meetings.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

**Skill Requirements**:

- Strong research skills for gathering primary data, analyzing data (using SPSS), summarizing data, and reporting data results.
- Proficient in SPSS software and various Microsoft tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong writing skills for supporting the preparation of research reports and manuscripts.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

**Eligibility Requirements**:
Eligible applicants must be registered graduate students at the University of Lethbridge.
